How is Google Wallet different from Google Pay
Now, many users might wonder how is Google Wallet is different from Google Pay? Well for starters Google Pay is a payment platform that allows you to transfer and receive money from your loved ones or make a payment while shopping online or at a physical store.
Whereas, Google Wallet is a platform that allows you to store all of your digital documents at one place. Be it a train ticket, bus ticket, boarding pass, gift cards, event tickets, movie tickets, and much more.
“Google Pay is not going anywhere. It will remain our primary payments app. Google Wallet is specifically tailored for non-payment use cases,” said Ram Papatla, GM & India Engineering Lead, Android at Google.
