X has started to roll out Grok, an AI chatbot that has been built by Elon Musk’s xAI. Customers who subscribe to X’s Premium+ service will have access to the ChatGPT competitor, which, in contrast to other chatbots now in use, adopts a humorous tone. Grok, according to xAI, is able to assimilate real-time knowledge about the world through the use of X.
Additionally, Grok is able to react to queries that are delicate or contentious, which other AI chatbots might not be able to. The use of profanity is something that Grok does not shy away from.

access to @grok is now rolling out to Premium+ subscribers in the US over the next week. the longer you’ve been a subscriber, the sooner you can grok.
you can find Grok in the side menu on web, iOS, and Android (app must be up to date).
on iOS & Android,…
At the beginning of Friday, X made the announcement that Grok would be available to Premium+ customers on the web, iOS, and Android throughout the course of the following week. xAI does not provide a date for the wider deployment of the AI chatbot; nevertheless, access to the chatbot would initially be restricted to people in the United States.
When using the web version of X, as well as the upgraded version of the X app for iOS and Android, Grok can be found on the side menu. It is also possible for users to add it to the program’s bottom menu by going to Premium > Preferences > Extras > Custom Navigation. This will make it more convenient for users to access.
The announcement article on X states that the likelihood of a user having access to Grok increases in proportion to the length of time they have been a Premium+ customer. Users of the X platform have already begun posting screenshots of their experiences with the newly introduced chatbot. One user has even requested that the chatbot burn Musk based on his posts on the X platform.
In addition, Grok is not only able to answer “spicy” queries, but he is also happy to make jokes that are directed at the user. The phrase “Roast me Grok” is displayed as one of the default prompt possibilities for the chatbot.
Musk had stated that his artificial intelligence business, xAI, will be integrated into his social networking platform, X, and would also be available as a separate app. This announcement was made one month ago. Musk has described xAI as a “maximum truth-seeking AI” that differentiates itself from its competitors OpenAI, Google, and Microsoft. “Grok has real-time access to information via the X platform, which is a massive advantage over other models,” Musk had stated the previous time around.
Grok was initially distributed to X Premium+ customers as a competitor to OpenAI’s ChatGPT, Google’s Bard, and Microsoft’s Copilot. The announcement was made in the previous month. Through the use of X, the chatbot is able to gain access to real-time information, develop conversational responses to questions, and initiate contentious discussions. The Grok-1 large language model, which has been through a number of iterations over the course of time, is the engine that drives the chatbot.
