The Red Magic 9 Pro series might be introduced to international markets in the near future. It has been revealed that the handsets will be going on sale in China on November 23. Following the launch of the Red Magic 8 Pro lineup in January of this year, the Red Magic 9 Pro series will be the next in line for the brand.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipsets and full-HD+ AMOLED panels of 6.8 inches in size are included in different variants. According to reports, the Red Magic 9 Pro series comes equipped with significant improvements in comparison to the models that came before it.
The design of the Red Magic 9 Pro phones has already been disclosed by the firm, and they have also provided a sneak peek at the primary features of the handheld devices that will be introduced in China on Thursday.
The back of the Red Magic 9 Pro is visible in a teaser that was posted by the firm on X, which was once known as Twitter. Within the brief video that is only three seconds long and has the number “9” as the only caption, the model is depicted with the number “09” written in red near the camera module that is located in the upper left corner of the rear panel of the smartphone.

For the time being, all of the information regarding the Red Magic 9 Pro has been officially disseminated through Weibo, which is a microblogging platform in China. A global launch of either one of the Red Magic 9 Pro models, or both of them, is likely to occur in the near future, according to the teaser on X.
On November 23, at 2:00 p.m. local time (11.30 a.m. IST), the Red Magic 9 Pro models are scheduled to be released in China. These models will be available in three different color options: Dark Night Knight, Deuterium Front Transparent Dark Night, and Deuterium Front Transparent Silver Wing (translated from Chinese). Additionally, they will feature hidden under-display cameras and a design that does not include a notch.
It has been revealed that the base model of the Red Magic 9 Pro will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 system-on-chip (SoC), along with 24 gigabytes of random access memory (RAM) and one terabyte of built-in storage space.
Straight out of the box, it will run Red Magic OS 9.0, which is based on Android 14. There are rumors that the phone will have BOE Q9+ panels, which will assure a display performance that is superior to that of previous versions.
Additionally, the Red Magic 9 Pro variants will be outfitted with Nubia’s in-house created Red Core R2 Pro gaming chips. These chips are said to enhance the overall gaming experience for consumers by expanding the range of customization choices available to them.
According to reports, it is capable of supporting 165W wired “magic flash charging,” which means that it can charge the handsets from zero to one hundred percent in just sixteen minutes.
